This rally is sponsored by the Klassik K MOA Chartered Club #347.  The President Greg Hunt and his wife Debbie host this rally.   There is no fee for the rally.  Camping fees at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground (motorcycle's  only) are $15 per night; there are cabins available for those who don't want to camp.

Parking is available for cars at the entrance to the campground. The campground is right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Maggie Valley is 1/2 hour away.  The Pigeon River runs along the campground and motorcycles drive over the bridge to get there.

On site is a building with a kitchen and enclosed picnic tables, breakfast and dinner is available for campers on Friday and Saturday.  The owners live there year round and do a great job of welcoming this rally.  During the rally the campsite is open for all motorcyclists and it was a nice surprise for some bikers to arrive and find this fun rally going on.  http://www.blueridgemotorcyclecamp.com/

The entire campground was a trout farm.  This is the one pond that is left.

A great place to visit in Maggie Valley is Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum. We met the owner Dale Walksler when he came back from riding one of the vintage bikes around the property. All of the motorcycles in the museum are in running condition and Dale and his staff were firing up some of the old bikes inside the museum. The bikes were mostly Harley's and Indians but he also had a lot of prototype and one-off bikes that we never heard of. We saw an all electric Harley Davidson from the 1940's. Plan to spend at least half a day.

On the way back to the motorcycle campground stop in Canton, NC at  O.C.'s BAR-B.Q.  The restaurant is family owned and they make great pulled pork.

Saturday evening all the Klassic K's are lined up for some "Brick Battalion" pictures. 

When we first arrived we were handed 5 raffle tickets each and after the line up of the bikes the door prizes were given out by Greg and Debbie Hunt ... (thanks for a wonderful rally!)  A major contributor was the Greenville South Carolina BMW shop who rode three Klassic K bikes to the rally.

The rally ended with a bonfire and making new friends and talking about motorcycles.Look at the September 2012 BMW ON magazine (page 72), someone was taking pictures  for  the "rally review" and there is Tony in 3 out of the 5 pictures. Nice surprise!!
